EVERYTHING I WORE ON MY BEACH VACATION

The June Motel is so cute, I couldn't help taking piles of mirror selfies as I soaked up the sunshine, the *aesthetics*, and the retro pink vibes! Check out everything I wore on my Sauble Beach vacation.

The road trip from Toronto to Sauble Beach is around 3 hours, so I wore my comfy Aritzia Dunes dress and oversized white utility shirt, plus my trusty Knix Thigh Saver anti-chafing shorts underneath for the car ride.

Once we arrived, it was immediately pool time! The pool looked so inviting on the super hot day, so after admiring the room, we changed into our swimsuits and headed out for a dip. I used that same trusty white shirt as a beach cover up over my blue bikini. For dinner at Heydays, I paired a polka dot crop top from H&M with my *short overalls from American Eagle-- which have become SUCH a staple for me this summer!

I've been obsessed with *Smash + Tess rompers ever since I was first introduced to them by a pal at a bachelorette weekend. I have two, but it was my leopard print one that came with me to The June. There is just something about a leopard-print onesie that screams girls' weekend to me, and I'll take any excuse to be comfy and cute! I slept in it, wore it in the hammock, and even went across the lawn to get hot cocoa from the lobby in it, feeling cute, cozy, and fun. It really is the perfect cottage or beach vacay piece!

If you're noticing that overalls and rompers are my jam this summer, you won't be surprised that I spent a lot of the next day in my Old Navy *romper. This black bodysuit was all over my FYP, and I think of it as my catsuit. It's sleek and sexy but still casual enough that wearing it to the campfire was totally acceptable, and it's extremely comfortable. My one complaint with it is that, as a short person, the sleeves are a touch loose on me and occasionally one will slip off my shoulder. Not a dealbreaker, it's still one of my favourite items in my closet, but if you're short like me, take a look at *this one instead and let me know how it is-- it's been in my cart for weeks!

If you're trying to decide what to wear to a beach town or what to wear on a beach vacation of your own, I recommend casual, cute, and comfy. Don't forget lots of bathing suits, cover ups, and sunglasses! If you are road tripping, there is no harm in overpacking (as I definitely did!) in order to not have to re-wear a damp swimsuit-- there is no worse feeling! And make sure you bring sandals and comfy walking shoes.
